ABOUT US

ZURBONSEN Communications & CSR Management is an agency for communication projects and sustainability. We help companies and organizations strengthen their brand, communicate effectively, and achieve their marketing objectives. We create expert content and adapt it to media formats that captivate specific target groups. “Sustainability” is a big word to describe the many small steps that lead to improved efficiency, long-term market positioning, and corporate social responsibility.

Cornelia Glees-zur Bonsen

Cornelia Glees-zur Bonsen has been a consultant for corporations and universities since 2007. As Press Officer and Head of Corporate Communications with personnel and budget responsibility at the University of Munich LMU and at EBS European Business School, she gained first-hand knowledge of the concerns and issues of communication managers. Glees-zur Bonsen started her career as a journalist and, following further training in the US, focused on university marketing. Since 2012, the certified Foundation Manager has dealt with CSR and has supervised various sustainability reports according to the leading reporting standard of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) on behalf of Sustainserv GmbH, among others for Ernst & Young Switzerland, and dorma+kaba Holding AG. Her core competencies are: strategic consulting, workshop management, concept development, and editorial management.

Elmar zur Bonsen

Elmar zur Bonsen is a corporate media expert and has many years’ experience in realizing complex media projects for companies. Heading NZZ Content Solutions in Zurich, his core competencies are concept development, cross-media communication, brand journalism, and corporate storytelling (see http://www.maz.ch/kommunikation-rhetorik/bereich/198/thema/cas-brand-journalism-corporate-storytelling/alle-kurse/). He started his career as a journalist at the Süddeutsche Zeitung newspaper and after ten years on the News and Politics desks, switched to the agency side, first as Vice Publishing Director of Hubert Burda Media and then as Publishing Director of Infel Media in Zurich. zur Bonsen was responsible for the development of prize-winning print and online media (B2B, B2C) and supervised widely published corporate magazines such as Think act for Roland Berger Strategy Consultants und print process for Heidelberger Druck. Since 2013, zur Bonsen has been a Director of Studies at MAZ, the Swiss School of Journalism in Lucerne.
